Interview with Nabeel Naim - Top Ex Al-Qaeda Operative

In light of recent events involving ISIS (now called The Islamic State), here’s an interesting interview with Sheikh Nabeel Naim – former top Al-Qaeda operative. The interview is in Arabic but the video contains English subtitles. As a brief summary, Nabeel Naim basically says that like Al Qaeda, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s ISIS was created by the USA, that Ayman Zawahiri was released from prison and given $20 to $30 Million to create three ISIS factions and that the ISIS mujaheddin were trained in Jordan and armed by the USA. In other words, Nabeel Naim confirms exactly what many of us already knew, but backs it up with names. Lots of names.

The interview is over 40 minutes long, but it’s pretty interesting. The sheik sounds very knowledgeable, backs up most of his statements and provides strong arguments that militant groups like ISIS are “claws of colonialism.” Host of the interview freaks me out with those weird looking eyes.

I particularly liked when the Sheik references Bernard Lewis’s idea of a 4th type of war, which is based on the use of proxies – agents instead of soldiers. In other words – weapons have become so powerful, they can literally blow up the world, so waging open war is an invitation to the apocalypse. So instead, the rich manipulate the poor to bleed themselves dry for them. Nabeel Naim backs the claim up by citing his own acceptance of funds from the Saudis to fight the Soviets during their invasion of Afghanistan.

An interesting bit of information is his opinion that the next step will be the destabilization of Saudi Arabia which he says will commence in 2016. He says the purpose is to foment war between the Saudis and Iran. In other words, these extremists groups are trained, armed and financed in order to destabilize the region so Iran and Syria get drained by being forced to spend their resources on re-stabilizing it.

Now, it is a known fact that Saudis and US are big buddies. But Nabeel Naim blames the policy of funding militants on Neo-cons like Richard Perle, and Israeli hawks who, pre 9/11, put out a position paper calling for a “Clean Break.” Destabilization of the region would most certainly be in the top interests of Israel. Thus, Sheik’s analysis seems pretty nuanced in this regard, seeing the US policy controlled by Israel. If this is the first time you hear about it, “Clean Break” was written in 1996, but considering how much of it has come true, it’s actually pretty scary.

A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm (1996 – report by a study group led by Richard Perle for Benjamin Netanyahu)

“Moving to a Traditional Balance of Power Strategy”

Israel can shape its strategic environment, in cooperation with Turkey and Jordan, by weakening, containing, and even rolling back Syria.

This effort can focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq — an important Israeli strategic objective in its own right – as a means of foiling Syria’s regional ambitions.

In brief, the plan was to get rid of Saddam Hussein to open the door for Syria and Jordan to take over Iraq. Then the Jordanians would work on bringing Hezbollah over, resulting in Iranians and Palestinians becoming isolated. Luckily, Iran has outsmarted and outmaneuvered the Yahoodi.

I was also fascinated by the mention of a book titled “Management of Savagery”. The host confirms the existence of the book and says it had been featured on their programme before. An even more telling mention was the fact that even though ISIS operated in Iraq during the time when the American mercenaries were stationed there, ISIS never fired a bullet at them. And while operating in Syria, they never fired a bullet at Israel. Does anyone still have any doubts that ISIS is a Zionist creation?
