Starved Syrian Woman Looks for Food in a Dumpster

This is an extremely saddening sight – a woman is forced to scavenge for food in and around a dumpster to avoid starving to death (also see children looking for ashes to eat in the dirt). And despite having gone through 4 years of hardship with barely having enough for themselves, two men passing by on a bicycle stopped to hand the woman some money to buy food that’s safe for eating.

The city of Homs has now been liberated by the Syrian army so Homs residents are starting to return to their homes (if there’s anything left of them) and hopefully also to their normal lives without the threat of death looming upon them, but many areas, including parts of Aleppo – the largest city in Syria, remain under rebel occupation and true to their mission to inflict maximum damage and suffering upon civilians, the rebels cut the water supply to all of Aleppo.

And although activists warned as far back as April 20 that rebels, whom Israeli security experts called Ticking Time Bomb are starving millions to death by cutting them off, this was vastly ignored by the western media until the news of it became so far spread, they could no longer keep it brushed under the rug (though they still maintain their blatant anti Syrian propaganda). You can rest assured that if the roles were reversed and there was an allegation that the regime cut water off residents, the MSM would bleat about it day and night.
